We held our Open-Day from 10h00am-14h00noon on the 17th November 2018 at our campus on the 4th Floor of Mishumo House, Braamfontein.
The occasion featured model casting, campus touring, course offers, applications and registrations. Studio 05 was proud to bring the Open-Day to Braamfontein for the fourth year in a row and was a reminder to all those who have enquired during the year that now is the time to take a positive step towards fulfilling their dreams.
The occasion was aimed at individuals who have an interest in Fashion as a career or those who have a passion for fashion but would like to take more intense shorter courses. The Open Day also served to increase awareness of what we offer here at Studio 05 and what our 3-year diploma and shorter part-time courses offer to prospective students
Candidates were shown around the campus and the lecturers assisted parents and individuals who have an interest in fashion with registration and the application process. Many grabbed the opportunity and got the Early Bird Discount offered if they registered before the end of November 2018.
Model casting also took place, where the 1st and 2nd year students selected models for the garments that they will be showcasing at our annual year-end fashion exhibition.
Marketing interns helped the day run smoothly by helping the models with fittings, hosting the interested students, and offering drinks and edibles.
The day was a great success and we would like to thank everybody who attended. But, if you missed out don’t worry we would like to invite you to come through this Saturday the 24th of November 2018 from 10am to 2pm, as we will be hosting another model casting and open day.
