As the year ends, Studio 05 Institute of Fashion ended it with a bang. We hosted our 16th Annual Fashion Show on Saturday Saturday 30 November 2019 and guests were entertained by a large yet intimate collection of student garments.
Studio 05’s new campus was used as the host venue for the event. Guests were welcomed in the foyer with drinks and canapes and then ushered outside for the main Fashion show and awards ceremony. The crowd was mesmerized by the “Afrocentric” theme given life to by designers who used fabrics in diverse and unique ways.
The awards ceremony was just the topping on an already perfect day. This was a chance to celebrate all our students and reward those who have stood out over the year. Awards were distributed according to specific categories such as “most creative garment”, “most progressive student” and “most original range”.
This was a proud moment for both our students and their parents and reminded us all that creativity, hard work and dedication will birth South Africa's future fashion designers. Congratulations to all those who were honoured!
